Job purpose
This role focuses on assembling and executing validation test setups for automotive electronic systems. It involves building test racks, operating and maintaining test equipment, ensuring accurate data collection, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. The position requires hands-on experience with electrical systems, adherence to safety standards, and collaboration across teams to ensure reliable and efficient validation processes.
Your responsibilities
- Build / assemble specific validation test racks and associated equipment’s.
- Responsible for validation test setup and test execution.
- Utilize and maintain automated monitoring system to guarantee in specifications test execution as well as peripheral systems to operate Part under test (load racks, harnesses, chillers, HV racks…)
- Follow equipment calibration and preventive / reactive maintenance programs as laboratory representative.
- Apply and keep up-to-date all safety guidelines.
- Responsible for test raw data.
- Be involved in continuous improvement and maintenance of the validation test equipment.
What we’re looking for
- Technical college degree in Electrical/Electronic or in mechatronics. Preferred: Engineering degree in Electrical/Electronic or in mechatronics
- At least 2 years of experience in testing, preferably in validation within the automotive or related industry.
- Familiarity with test equipment: Climatic chamber, Digital Muli-Meter(DMM), Power Supply, oscilloscopes, generators, dynometer and etc.
- Proven ability by professional experience to execute electrical rack cabling works.
- Proven knowledge in industrial Electrical standards.
- Experience with basic circuit design.
- Good communication skills are essential
- Fluency in English is required. German/French would be an advantage
- Travel is required, at the initial stage for extended period of time. Then, up to 5% of the time

Recruitment process
- CV Review - Your application and CV will be reviewed to assess your qualifications and experience in relation to the role requirements.
- Phone Interview (approximately 30 minutes) - This initial conversation is designed to discuss your background, expectations, and answer any preliminary questions.
- Technical Interview(s) (1 to 1.5 hours, one or two rounds) - Conducted in English with the manager and an additional team member, this stage focuses on evaluating your technical knowledge and problem-solving skills. The interview can be held via Teams or at our office.
- Final Interview (45 minutes) - A meeting with a representative from the HR department to ensure alignment with our company culture and discuss the next steps. This interview might also take place via Teams or at our office.
