What tasks await you?
We are looking for motivated candidates to extend local presence where own ideas, personal experience and state nof the art technology are main drivers to fulfil customer needs.
Network & Services International (NWI) develops, plans, builds and operates the international network infrastructure of DTAG and produces intercarrier and wholesale services for the sales units W-IC, B2B and IoT.
- Deployment of DT DWDM network (new nodes, chassis, cards)
- Configuration of new wavelengths & optimizing them in a flex grid network
- 2nd level troubleshooting of DWDM network platform issues including on-duty calls outside standard business hours
- Proactive maintenance and network quality management
- Provisioning of lambda orders based on our own DT DWDM network
What skills will be appreciated?
- excellent knowledge of Ciena and Nokia DWDM systems
- 3-5 years experience in plan, build, operations and maintenance of the optical transport networks
- experience with technical customer solution designs for non-standard business requests with an international scope
- hands-on experience with agile working methodologies
- understanding of the importance of inter-team collaboration in achieving business results
- knowledge of effective project management methods, strategies and tactics
- open for digitalization and automation challenges
- fluent English, (German language skills are appreciated
ESP Squad:
- We are doing the DWDM Engineering for our international Ciena and Nokia platforms
- We are responsible for the Ciena Management System (MCP) with the Releases, Security demands and Account Management
- We are responsible for provisioning Lambda Connect orders based on the DT DWDM network
- Our expertise (both engineering and service delivery) is regularly requested for project contributions
