Surgical Device Liaison Ophthalmology Area
Are you passionate about advancing eye care?
Roche is looking for a Surgical Device Liaison to bring innovative ophthalmic devices to patients in Poland.
In this field-based role, you will support surgeons and medical teams in the operating room, deliver hands-on training, ensure accurate scientific and technical information, and provide insights that shape global and local medical strategies. You will collaborate with external stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and the Polish Ophthalmology Squad, supporting clinical trials and the full lifecycle of surgical ophthalmology devices, including the Port Delivery System.
This is a highly specialised, non-promotional role focused on surgical excellence, patient safety, and advancing ophthalmic care.

The opportunity:
Operating Room Support: Assist medical experts during ophthalmic procedures, provide hands-on training, and ensure safe, effective use of Roche devices.
Clinical Trials & Patient Support: Help set up trial sites, deliver training, share key data, and map the patient journey from diagnosis to post-treatment.
Expert Insight & Collaboration: Build relationships with therapy experts, share best practices, and gather insights to improve patient outcomes.
Medical Education & Engagement: Provide clear, high-quality education on surgical products, answer questions from healthcare professionals and patient organizations, and support events and sponsorships.
Who you are:
Degree in science or medicine
Experience in the pharmaceutical industry, preferably in ophthalmology, with strong knowledge of ophthalmic surgery.
Proven track record of scientific collaboration with external experts.
Demonstrate a customer-focused mindset, initiative, and accountability.
Solid knowledge of clinical trials, regulations, and compliance standards.
Excellent communication, project management, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work across teams and geographies.
Fluent in Polish and English
Willing to travel within Poland up to 80% of the time
