SQL Database Engineer
Main duties and responsibilities:
Develop and maintain SQL database backbone of web applications based on specifications in a best in class manner in IBM Business Process Manager
Interact with different roles during the solution development cycle (requirement analysis, architecture and design, frontend/backend development, system integration, support)
Assure that tools/applications meet Customer requirements
Support & Maintain of own or internally developed tools/applications
Solve problems (root-causes analysis, design change, implementation update, deployment)
Perform code reviews and share best practices with colleagues
Desirable Skills:
Emphasis on communication, honesty and transparency
Willingness to expand own programming knowledge
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Motivation to pursue quality and improvement
Requirements:
Database Design Knowledge
PL/SQL Experience
Oral and Written English at Technical Level
At least 1 year of experience in working with databases
Knowledge of Linux task scheduling using Cron and Shell Scripts
Experience with Oracle Databases
Understanding of Web Development
IBM BAW Platform Knowledge
Experience with Oracle Forms. WebLogic a plus.
Proficiency in working with stored procedures
