At Arteris, we empower engineering and design teams from the world’s most transformative brands to connect and integrate today’s systems-on-chip (SoC) that drive modern innovation.
If you’ve held a smartphone, driven an electronic vehicle, or turned on a smart TV, you’ve interacted with what we do at Arteris. Here, the future is quite literally in your hands , and when it’s not, there’s a good chance it’s flying above you in a drone, orbiting in a satellite, or operating in the cloud from a data center.
As a Senior Software Development Engineer, you will work closely with our Software engineers and field application engineers to deliver a powerful configuration and implementation tool for Network-on-Chip (NoC) systems.
While no prior electronics experience is required, a background in this area is certainly a plus.
Your main responsibilities will be to:
- Collaborate with the application engineering team to resolve user issues.
- Work with the hardware design team to implement constraints, safety checks, and user input for hardware blocks.
- Improve performance bottlenecks in the tool.
- Enhance tool usability by automating or streamlining tedious or error-prone tasks.
You should have:
- Ideally, 3 to 8+ years of experience as a software developer.
- Experience delivering a software product to external customers that runs locally on users’ machines.
- A strong foundation in:
- Data structures and graph-based algorithms (since NoCs are graphs)
- Software development skills
- Expert knowledge of at least one object-oriented programming language (preferably Python)
- Standard development workflows (Jira, Git, etc.)
- UNIX-based development environments
- Hardware, computer architecture, networking, or foundational knowledge of the hardware design process is a plus.
- Strong communication skills in English. French a plus.
Education requirements:
- Engineering degree or Master’s in Computer Science, Electronics, or related field.
