Job Description
Who We’re Looking For:
We’re seeking a Senior QA Analyst who goes beyond executing test cases — someone who actively contributes to the overall quality of the project. This role is ideal for someone with a business-oriented mindset, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work independently in a small, agile team.
Project Overview:
Join a team responsible for ensuring the quality of backend processes related to mobile provisioning, based on BPMN. The project uses a custom Java-based test framework that supports both fully and semi-automated testing. We are currently expanding backend test coverage and integrating tests with mobile devices (Android).
Your Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain test plans and test cases.
- Perform functional testing, including on Android mobile devices.
- Focus on high-level backend process testing (no UI testing).
- Collaborate closely with a small development team (~2 developers) to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
- Support developers in quality-related activities.
- Analyze backend processes and their impact on the system.
- Execute tests and report results.
Qualifications
Must have:
- Experience in manual testing.
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Swagger, Xray, IntelliJ.
- Basic understanding of test automation (e.g., completed a course or used record & playback tools).
- Understanding of how databases work (no hands-on experience required).
- Knowledge of CI/CD and software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Experience with mobile devices (Android) is a plus.
Nice to have:
- German language skills.
- Testing certifications (e.g., ISTQB).
- Experience or knowledge of automated processes or subscription models.
