Job Description
- Design and implement scalable, resilient, and cost-effective cloud (public and private) solutions.
- Lead the architecture of highly available systems, incorporating fault tolerance and disaster recovery capabilities.
- Drive the automation of infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment using advanced scripting and IaC techniques.
- Optimize and enhance CI/CD pipelines for maximum efficiency, reliability, and performance, implementing advanced deployment strategies.
- Lead performance engineering initiatives, conducting in-depth analysis and tuning of applications and systems.
- Develop and implement strategies for cloud cost management and optimization.
- Provide mentorship, and guidance to fellow engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and collaboration.
- Evaluate and champion emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously evolve our infrastructure.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience designing and implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions.
- Proven expertise in designing and managing complex cloud environments in at least one of GCP, AWS.
- Demonstrated experience in architecting and managing hybrid cloud environments, including private cloud infrastructure.
- Expert-level scripting skills in one or more of the following: Python, Go, Bash.
- Deep, hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Helm, and Docker, including designing and optimizing clusters for production workloads.
- Mastery of Git and extensive experience in designing, optimizing, and managing complex CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD or similar.
- In-depth knowledge and experience with monitoring, logging, and observability stacks (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
- Experience in designing and implementing disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
- Demonstrated ability in performance engineering, analysis, and optimization of production systems.
- Proven experience in leading technical initiatives and mentoring junior team members.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with a demonstrable ability to think strategically and drive innovation.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills in English, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- A strong Agile mindset and experience working in agile environments.
