The role
As a Senior Fullstack Engineer in Foundation Alliance, you will define and implement scalable technical solutions for complex business problems. You will drive key initiatives, working closely with stakeholders and collaborating with cross-functional teams to build a global solution that works seamlessly across all markets. Your work will ensure a clear architecture with well-defined boundaries, enabling team autonomy and efficient operations worldwide.
On the technical side, you will leverage modern practices like DevOps, Continuous Delivery, and data-driven approaches to deliver incremental business value. You’ll design and develop scalable solutions while maintaining high-quality standards and ensuring reliability across all systems. Along the way, you’ll benefit from mentorship, workshops, and pair programming to support your professional growth.
What you’ll do
- Work in a cross-functional team of 6–8 people, focused on building and scaling the company’s experimentation platform. You'll empower product teams to make data-informed decisions by providing reliable, performant, and easy-to-use experimentation tools. You'll work with a modern tech stack including ReactJS/Redux, AWS, and more.
- Take ownership of the architecture, design, development, deployment, and operations of the services you will develop using DevOps practices, pair programming, and other cutting-edge methodologies.
- Be an active, solution-oriented member of autonomous, cross-functional agile teams collaborating with Product Owners, Front-end and Back-end Engineers, Designers, and Business Intelligence teams.
- Having an in-depth understanding of HelloFresh’s core product and architecture and acting as an ambassador for software solutions, offering support and mentorship to colleagues.
- Solve software problems that have visible risks, roadblocks, and constraints. Examples might include legacy dependencies, data quality, compliance, and architecture or technology limitations.
What you’ll bring
- Proven experience in software development with strong problem-solving skills and proficiency in ReactJS/Next.js, Redux, JavaScript(ES6+), HTML5, TypeScript and CSS5;
- Experience in mono-repositories, frontend developer experience tools.
- Expertise in modern technologies, including containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes, relational and document databases such as PostgreSQL or MongoDB.
- Experience writing unit/integration/functional test cases and Cypress, Jest frameworks
- Strong problem-solving skills, leveraging Gen AI tooling
- Proficiency in end-to-end development processes, including TDD, application tuning/profiling, and continuous integration/delivery (CI/CD).
- Experience with server-side rendering technologies and modern hosting platforms such as Vercel is a plus.
- Experience working with experimentation platforms or methodologies is a plus.
