PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Develop and maintain accurate short- and long-term demand forecasts using historical data, market trends, and business insights.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, finance, and supply chain teams to gather input and align on demand assumptions.
- Monitor forecast accuracy and identify root causes for variances; implement corrective actions.
- Lead or support S&OP/IBP process with key stakeholders.
- Utilize planning tools (e.g., SAP APO, Blue Yonder, Excel, Power BI) to generate and manage forecasts.
- Lead cross-departmental E2E projects as the SPOC for Demand Planning, while preparing reports, dashboards, and KPI summaries for management review, and providing guidance to junior planners within the team.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain analytics.
- Strong proficiency in ERP and forecasting tools (e.g., SAP, Blue Yonder, IBP, Oracle, Kinaxis, Anaplan).
- Advanced Excel skills and hands-on experience with data analytics platforms such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Solid understanding of statistical forecasting methods and demand planning models.
- Knowledge of Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) or Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes and frameworks.
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with professional fluency in spoken and written English.
