Position Title: Senior Customer Cybersecurity Advisor
Location: Kraków, Poland (preferred) | Hybrid Poland
Department: Cybersecurity – Customer Cybersecurity Office (CCSO)
Reports To: Customer Cybersecurity Manager
The opportunity:
The Senior Customer Cybersecurity Advisor plays a strategic, customer-facing role within the Customer Cybersecurity Office. As a trusted cybersecurity expert, you are responsible for supporting customer engagements, support regulatory and technical discussions, and help customers navigate the complex landscape of modern cyber risk—especially in the context of critical infrastructure and OT/IT environments. You will also drive customer cybersecurity resilience programs and champion Hitachi Energy’s commitment to cybersecurity excellence.
How you’ll make an impact :
- Serve as the primary cybersecurity contact for high-profile customers.
- Conduct workshops, security reviews, and on-site engagements.
- Drive customer cybersecurity resilience programs tailored to industry-specific needs.
- Represent Hitachi Energy’s cybersecurity posture across customer engagements and industry forums.
- Advise on cybersecurity standards and regulatory compliance: ISO/IEC 27001, IEC 62443, NERC-CIP, CRA, and NIS2.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Legal, R&D, Product) to align messaging and solutions.
- Lead proactive customer communication during incident preparation and response.
- Support sales and presales teams in addressing security concerns in RFPs, audits, and due diligence.
- Represent the CCSO at industry events, exhibitions, and forums.
- Capture and act on customer feedback to continuously improve cybersecurity services.
Your Background:
- University degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, including customer-facing or consulting roles.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and regulatory environments.
- Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, or equivalent) preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Willingness to travel regularly (national and international).
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in industrial cybersecurity and OT/IT convergence.
- Familiarity with NIS2, CRA
- Participation in cybersecurity communities or working groups
