We are looking for a Purchasing Specialist (EMEA) based in Warsaw (Kajetany). Your main responsibility will be to work closely with the sales zones, with a key focus on supporting and monitoring the procurement of materials required for planned service and customer interventions. The role covers EMEA region.
What you’ll do:
- Ensure the effective procurement of materials, components, sub-assemblies, to support customer delivery performance.
- Work directly with customer service team in terms of managing changes to customer needs and therefore supplier requirements.
- Ensure all Purchase Orders are acknowledged by the vendor base and maintain accurately on the ERP. Monitor delivery status of scheduled receipts to ensure on time delivery to need.
- Be accountable for overall performance of assigned vendors. Monitors, evaluates and reports on the performance of suppliers
- Manage the overall responsible purchase order backlog for specific vendors and proactively identifies risk to customer needs and proactively mitigates wherever possible.
- Manage supplier constraints and priorities and allocates to key stakeholders as required whilst ensuring recovery planning is well communicated.
- Alert and acts in case master data need to be reviewed.
- Perform all operations according to appropriate regulations.
What you´ll need to have:
- At least 3 years of experience as a purchasing specialist within manufacturing/technical industry. Experience in a regional role for EMEA is an advantage.
- Experience in influencing and negotiating.
- Strong background of supplier Relationship management
- Familiarity with ERP system, analysis and reporting Knowledge
- Fluent in English
