Our multi-skilled team is responsible for Offline Platform capabilities that allow to use of applications without an Internet connection and synchronize data later. Working in the Offline Team includes Java, Kotlin Multiplatform, Swift, Javascript, good knowledge of Pega Platform features, mobile (Android and iOS) development experience. It requires a lot of passion to learn new technologies and exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

We are searching for an inquisitive, energetic, and multi-skilled individual who is passionate about building enterprise-scale applications. The perfect candidate would have solid experience with JVM based technologies like Kotlin and Java. As an offline features developer, you will work as a member of the UX organization and collaborate closely with our creative and development teams to deliver complex and high-performing native mobile solutions that utilize Pega Platform as a backend for enterprise-grade applications.

What You'll Do at Pega:
- Produce code that meets engineering excellence standards at par with no oversight.
- Participate in the code review process
- Unit test code to ensure technical requirements are satisfied
- Assist with the resolution of urgent customer issues around Mobile/Offline
- Debug and maintain existing code base
- Be a subject matter expert and guide Pega’s global support organization and internal development teams around offline and mobile development
- Build and maintain a strong collaborative and trusting relationship with your team, peers and other stakeholders.
- Challenge the Pega technology to its limits and beyond and provide feedback to product management and engineering
- Look outward to identify technologies and trends to improve our solutions and keep abreast of the latest mobile and accessibility standards

What You've Accomplished:
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, Technology or equivalent
- Minimum of 5+ years in the software industry
- Strong knowledge of JVM based technologies: Kotlin, Java, Kotlin Native/Multiplatform.
- Experience with Mobile Development: Kotlin and/or Swift
- Experience with web technologies: JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS
- You have hands-on experience developing software products and solid understanding of software development lifecycle
- Collaborating with multiple stakeholders
- You have experience in troubleshooting problems, triaging issues / bugs in the product
- High-throughput, low latency computing in Java, Kotlin or similar technologies
- Microservice development experience
- Experience in building critical API in world class products will be welcome
- You are familiar with non-technical aspects of software development (e.g. documentation, demo, licensing, marketing, etc.)
