For our Corporate Service Center in PL-Katowice we are currently looking for a:

Plant Buyer

Your responsibilities

• Continuous planning of the allocated article assortment as well as deadline monitoring of orders, call-offs from quantity contracts, order confirmations and adherence to delivery dates
• Maintaining, assessing and supporting the assigned suppliers and implementing necessary (corrective) measures within the framework of operational purchasing
• Checking invoices and resolving differences with suppliers
• Handling and monitoring the processing of error messages and missing parts
• Ensuring the delivered quality and forwarding changes to the suppliers in accordance with the requirements of the design and assembly departments
• Processing and monitoring quality notifications and return deliveries
• Maintaining accounts payable and material master data
• Supporting the central purchasing department in the operational area and in the management of quantity contracts

Our requirements

• You are a communicative personality
• You have good user skills in the procurement and materials management modules of SAP R/3 as well as in the application of the MS Office modules
• You communicate fluently in English, German would be a great asset!
• You have a commercial education with technical understanding
• You have already gained initial experience in the field of purchasing and materials management.
