Planning Manager’s main responsibility is to be accountable for day-to-day planning operations of the team in charge. Right focus on category priorities, team’s set up and required deliverables for driving impact towards business outcome of organization
Responsibilities

Ensure the process is carried-out by the team as per the solution design agreed with the
engagement framework in the Design and Transition phase
-
Run smooth planning operations to maximize Service levels, optimizes Inventory, reducing Business Waste Production Planning
• Achieve the contractually agreed KPIs / SLAs
• Share/ implement best practices across teams
• Carry out transformation initiatives and projects to deliver business impact
• Act as primary point of contact for process escalations
• Ensure that people have all operational resources with right knowledge, upskilling program and strong succession / back-up planning
• Present performance indicators in internal operational reviews, analyze data & trends, implement continuous improvement based on Lean & Six Sigma methodologies
• Ensure all team members are aware of KPIs and drive respective Route Cause Analysis to build improvement plans
• Successfully graduating the training plan attached to the position and the tasks;
• Perform monthly/quarterly/yearly individual appraisal discussions with the team members;
• Propose action plans, coaching and mentoring sessions for the team members, talent development sessions, as well as career development sessions.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications

University degree (minimum Bachelor)

Strong communication in English – both oral and written skills. Ability to communicate efficiently with all levels of management and peers,

Proven ability to strategize, influence, communicate and execute complex initiatives to generate productivity and business impact;

Knowledge of the Planning domain and process understanding

Proven ability to lead large team towards meeting the agreed SLA’s

Ability to bring external and internal data insights into the process

Self-motivated, high-energy levels and works well under strict deadlines
