We are seeking a skilled Murex Support Engineer to join our team and provide expert support in Murex Reporting and Datamart functionalities.
The role will involve collaboration with development teams, driving the improvement of processes, and ensuring the seamless operation of reporting systems in the Murex environment. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in Murex systems and capital market products.
Responsibilities
- Strongly serving and supporting the client and Development Team in their quest to do everything possible to delight customer
- Providing all support to the teams with criteria and determination
- Follow with different teams the development and test evolution
- Removing impediments/risks, active participation to remove impediments or finding the right personnel to remove the risks
- Facilitating the effectiveness and continuous improvement of the process being followed by the team
- Facilitating discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution, contribution of possible solutions with internal and external communication, improving transparency and radiating information
Requirements
- Previous Murex Support experience, particularly in Murex Reporting / Datamart
- Experience on MX3.1 Datamart
- Knowledge of Datamart objects - dynamic tables, feeders, batch of feeders, scanner templates etc
- Understanding of the Murex system as a whole is a plus
- Good understanding of capital market products
- Unix experience necessary; shell programming experience highly desirable
- Technical skills - Very good knowledge of SQL (Sybase and Oracle), Basic unix commands
- Basic knowledge on financial instruments such as Interest Rate Derivatives, Credit Derivatives, Currency Derivatives, Swaps, Futures, Options, FRA etc
