What project we have for you
Our Customer is the European R&D center for the biggest world leading brands. Together, we will work on a new electric mobility technology and solutions that aim to satisfy the global demand for premium electric vehicles.
What you will do
- Define and lead the architecture of complex Android applications using Kotlin.
- Guide and collaborate with engineering teams to ensure high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code.
- Design business-critical features and integration components.
- Lead architectural and design discussions across teams, including product, UX, and backend.
- Mentor senior and mid-level engineers on best practices and architectural principles.
- Conduct code and architecture reviews, ensuring adherence to design patterns and coding standards.
- Optimize applications for performance, security, and scalability.
- Actively contribute to planning, estimations, and technical documentation.
- Collaborate cross-functionally and with distributed teams in a fast-paced, Agile environment.
What you need for this
- 7+ years of professional experience in Android development.
- Proven track record of designing and delivering large-scale Android applications in Kotlin.
- Deep understanding of Android SDKs, architecture components, and mobile design patterns (MVVM, Clean Architecture, etc.).
- Experience architecting business-critical and integration-heavy applications.
- Proficiency in guiding the full mobile development lifecycle.
- Strong ability to articulate complex technical challenges and solutions.
- Self-driven, highly organized, and capable of leading technical initiatives.
- Experience with Embedded Automotive systems.
- Hands-on experience working with Map SDKs and Navigation solutions.
- Solid experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.).
- Experience in tools like Jira, Confluence.
- Excellent communication skills in English (Upper-Intermediate level or higher).
Will be a plus:
- Experience in developing Android apps for automotive Head Units.
- Prior experience leading or mentoring engineering teams.
- Familiarity with reactive programming (Kotlin Coroutines/Flow).
