Job Description:
As we continue through a period of explosive growth, HedgeServ is searching for experienced professionals who can make an immediate impact on our growing team. We are seeking out candidates with 3+ years of experience in the Financial Services Sector who are decisive, energetic, and self-starting.
In addition to a focus on traditional middle office responsibilities such as trade capture, affirmations, settlements, pricing and break resolution; the candidate will be expected to take ownership of customized client requests, hold conversations with senior personnel, and actively engage in our internal development initiatives
Key Responsibilities:
Confirm the trade and cash details of trades in the market
Confirm and process the cash settlement of Resets, Option Premiums and Net cash figures
Ensure the accuracy of all trade bookings, end of day pricing, and client deliverables
Effectively communicate with clients assisting with all systems and trade related queries
Work closely with the various middle office, NAV, IT, risk, and investor service teams
Institute innovative technological solutions to alleviate client concerns in conjunction with our business development team
HedgeServ operates a client focused structure which provides a wide-range of experience to all levels of employee. As such a Middle Office Supervisor should be flexible and willing to adapt.
Quickly build a deep understanding of the proprietary HedgeServ applications and platforms, which support functions such as Trade Capture, Security Master Setups, the creation and delivery of sensitive client reporting, Pricing, Trade Matching, Trade Settlements, and the display of real-time PnL and Risk to Trading teams and Portfolio Managers.
Communicate with clients, external vendors, and internal stakeholders, in both written and verbal forms, throughout the day, to ensure correct settlement of trades and resolution of breaks.
Demonstrated ability to effectively handover outstanding items to relevant internal teams, and to escalate issues clearly and appropriately to senior management and/or development teams when necessary.
Job Requirements for the role:
Completed bachelor’s degree in business, accounting or finance would be preferred
3+ years’ of experience within fund operations
The candidate must be able to interact with different market stakeholders to resolve position and cash breaks in a timely fashion
Strong Excel skills with problem solving ability
Ability to multi-task and succeed in a results oriented high pressure environment with an understanding of the need for 100% accuracy
Desire to learn and embrace new technology
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to be flexible and work effectively both within a team structure and independently.

Industry platform knowledge: TradeServ, MarkitWire, Markit Trade Manager, Traiana, Harmony, Bloomberg, DTCC, ICELink and PB Portals is a plus
Strong product knowledge in the areas of OTC and listed derivatives (complex products a plus) Examples: Mortgage Backed, IRS, CDS, Swaptions, Equities, Options, Bonds/Repo’s.
