The project and the team
The project focuses on refactoring and enhancing enterprise router services developed in Golang and C, with opportunities for feature development as well. Challenges include daily maintenance, refactoring, and test automation in Go. The scope of the project provides opportunities to grow your engineering skills in various areas. The product owner and technical leader oversee the backlog. You will have the freedom to select tools and technologies for your work and will be a key contributor to solution design.

- As the client is based in the US, please be prepared for possible afternoon meetings

We work on multiple interesting projects at the time, so it may happen that we’ll invite you to the interview for another project if we see that your competencies and profile are well suited for it.
Your role
As a part of the project team, you will be responsible for:
- Developing and maintaining router code using Golang and C
- Refactoring the source code to achieve the required test coverage
- Refactoring the source code to reduce the overhead introduced during the initial iteration and to enhance failure awareness
- Implementing unit tests
- Working with the development team to provide them help in the operations field
- Partnering with the customer to optimise the existing codebase
Do we have a match?
As a Software Engineer, you must meet the following criteria:
- Very good knowledge of Go and C
- Very good knowledge of Cgo and Bazel
- Good knowledge of Python
- In-depth hands-on knowledge of networking
- Experience in troubleshooting issues across a microservices architecture
- Experience in designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems
- Good knowledge of English (B2 level)
