Your role in a nutshell:
Your role centers on financial reporting and analysis. You'll prepare reports, assist in business planning and forecasting, and analyze budget versus actual figures. Additionally, you'll uphold financial controls (SOX) and support the Financial Controller and Controlling Manager in matters related to this area. You will be collaborating closely with Accounting and Payroll, and communication with the London HQ will be integral to your duties.
What keeps you busy during the day:
- Providing support in business planning, forecasts and budgeting
- Monitoring and analyzing variances between budgets and actual numbers
- Taking part in implementing and providing SOX controls
- Supporting Financial Controller and Controlling Manager in day-to-day operations (calculations, analysis, preparing regular reviews (actual vs. forecast), collaborating on reporting/ controlling tools development
- Collecting budget inputs from head of departments
- Collaborating with the Accounting and Payroll team, as well financial team based HQ (London)
Skills and experience required to be successful in this role include:
- High education (preferably in economics, finance, statistics).
- 2 years of experience gained in finance, ideally in accounting/controlling/ data analytics/ reporting/ audit.
- Advanced practical knowledge of Excel – must have (Power BI, Power Pivot knowledge would be an asset but is not a must Accuracy and meticulousness in the data processing).
- Ability and habit of self-checking.
- Practical experience with Comarch Optima will be an advantage.
- Very good command of spoken and written English (B2) will make it easier for you to work with our colleagues from other countries.
- Strong quantitative skills combined with problem-solving abilities.
- Above-average communication to help you report results in a clear, concise and persuasive manner.
- Growth mindset, high level of independence and adaptability.
- Excellent command of Polish (spoken and written) required due to the local nature of the role.
