Division: Group Technology Services (GTS)
Your Role
As a Windows Care Engineer, you will provide 2nd and 3rd level support for Windows servers (2012, 2016, 2019, 2022, and later) in a complex and hybrid infrastructure.
Your Responsibilities
As a Windows Care Engineer, you will:
- Handle requests, incidents, problems, and changes across both Production and Non-Production environments
- Manage network shares, backups, restores, and related infrastructure components
- Contribute to strategic infrastructure projects and roadmap planning
- Apply Microsoft security patches using Ansible and other automation tools
- Provide support during business hours (08:00–18:00 CET)
- Participate in on-call support outside business hours for Production systems (Watch Duty rotation)
- Weekend work as part of a scheduled rotation
Technical Requirements
- Proficiency in PowerShell; knowledge of Ansible is an additional asset
- Experience with Windows Server (2012–2022+) in virtualized environments (e.g., VMware)
- Solid understanding of Group Policy, File Servers, Active Directory, Networker, Cohesity, DNS, NAS, and SAN
- Familiarity with clustering solutions (e.g., Failover Cluster, Always On) and server hardware (e.g., HP, Vblock)
- Good understanding of TCP/IP networking fundamentals
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code practices
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken
