Why this role matters:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Asset and CMDB Analyst with extensive experience in IT Asset/ CI Management and BMC Remedy application configuration. This role will support a larger critical CMDB initiative for the organization. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of implementing and supporting CMDB solutions, managing IT assets, and creating stakeholder reports and dashboards. This role requires strong analytical skills, technical expertise, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical teams and stakeholders.
As the IT Asset and CMDB Analyst, you will be responsible for the following:
Your key responsibilities:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and develop strategies for asset discovery and configuration management.

Conduct regular audits and reconciliations of the CMDB to ensure data integrity and compliance with ITIL best practices.

Develop and maintain processes (automated and manual) for CI creation, normalization, reconciliation, reporting, and reviewing integrations with various data sources and tools for enrichment.

Provide expert guidance on the use of the CMDB and related ITAM applications, including troubleshooting and resolving system issues.

Ability to create and manage reports and dashboards providing visibility into asset and configuration item status, trends, and metrics.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data sources into the CMDB.
What you'll bring
Required:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

Minimum of 5 years of experience in ITSM, with a focus on CMDB and IT asset management.

Extensive experience with BMC Helix and ITSM applications, including tool configuration, customization, and administration.

Proven experience in leading CMDB implementation projects and facilitating configuration item governance processes.

Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, BMC, ServiceNow PMP) are a plus.

Excellent analytical, interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
