A Day in the Life
Join us as a Field Service Engineer supporting our Cardiac Ablation Solution and Cardiac Surgery portfolio, technologies that improve and save lives every day. In this role, you will ensure that life-sustaining equipment operates reliably and efficiently in hospital settings. Responsibilities include installing equipment, performing preventive maintenance, repairs, and performance checks. The position requires regular travel to healthcare facilities, with occasional travel for training or additional support. You will work closely with service teams and hospital staff to minimize equipment downtime, ensure customer satisfaction, and maintain the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance in every task you perform.Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Deliver field technical support and repair services for medical devices.
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding product use, issues, and troubleshooting.
- Act as a technical liaison between customers and sales teams, providing insights, solutions, and support during and after product deployment.
- Provide technical documentation and input for Performance Qualification activities.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, electronics, biomedical sciences, or a related field (a master’s degree may be considered in place of experience).
- Minimum of one year of relevant technical service experience, preferably within the medical device or healthcare technology sector.
- Strong practical knowledge of diagnostic and repair tools, systems integration, and technical troubleshooting.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work independently under general supervision on moderately complex projects.
- A proactive, customer-focused mindset combined with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
