What you’ll do:
As part of the BA Europe Quality Team, reporting to Product Line Quality Head, you will run the job of Field Quality Engineer. You will be located in the Świdnica site.
You will be the one who brings the Voice of the Consumer (VoC) into the Quality organization, acting as a hub for functions like Customer Service and Sales, and the information contact point towards the Cluster/Country organizations. You will own the knowledge of the product and its use in the destination market, wherever it is manufactured or purchased. You will enable Quality data availability for the competent functions.
You will foster continuous improvement by creating strong liaisons with (Factories/Product Sourcing Quality) and (R&D/Product Care).
You will become an expert in the range of our products, and you will initiate activities for continuous improvements in the quality performance of the products, thus aiming to increase the positive experience of our consumers. You will be strongly involved in bridging the VoC and field knowledge towards the new product development, supporting NPI Quality Engineers.
You will act as a reference counterpart to Consumer Service on product serviceability and repairability aspects.
In detail, you will:
Collect and analyze consumers feedback based on the data from the Company Quality reporting systems.
Cooperation with the Sales and Service organizations to collect and analyze the market-specific problems and initiate appropriate improvement activities.
Enable the start of data-driven root cause analysis, then follow the closure of the actions defined to solve the quality issues.
Collect and report promptly early quality and safety warnings or potential quality disruption events.
Lead the Quality reporting for the assigned areas.
Lead the return of defective components and appliances from the market and organize the returns analysis with the appropriate technical functions and initiate the improvement activities accordingly, in agreement with the BA PL team.
Execute the field test activities in close contact with the project NPI Engineer. Fit the consumers ́ indications into the continuous improvement Quality plan.
Support New Product Development by providing data and insights for Quality target setting and market-driven requirement collection.
Deploy quality improvement tools in the improvement actions with the market Service organization (Service Bulletins, etc.).
Support the Consumer Service organization on training and troubleshooting for Service technicians.
Work with other departments to identify and deploy best practice solutions to be embedded in the PL Quality plan.
Qualifications:
Education: technical diploma with strong quality experience or technical university degree.
It is a plus an understanding of the manufacturing processes, as well as a good practical understanding of product development.
It is plus a knowledge of components and product functionality (knowledge of possible defects of the products).
Fluent English and Polish.
Strong analytical skills and logical thinking. You efficiently analyze data.
Problem-solving approach. You turn issues into solutions.

You will be based in our modern factory in Świdnica manufactures various models of free-standing cookers and built-in ovens of such brands as Electrolux, AEG, and Zanussi.
