Description
JOB PURPOSE
This role will be responsible to provide clinical leadership to a group of CAD Designers. Should demonstrate the ability and maturity to achieve and maintain CAD Designer's respect. The Clinical Specialist should aid on clinical inquiries to Align employees and prescribing doctors that require specialized dental expertise. The Clinical Specialist must be able to identify difficult customer situations and shall be able to point to remedy in the Invisalign and/or CAD-CAM services products. Individual performing at this level are expected to provide ideas and suggestions on how to improve clinical execution of cases. Involvement in clinical training at all levels (CAD Designers, clinical colleagues, customers, sales organization, etc.). Participate in study groups as facilitator, host and/or organizer. Proficiency in all align treat proprietary software. Support the management of product safety reports by working with regulatory and quality assurance teams and propose ideas to improve product safety.
May be also involved in clinical hotline, inbound and outbound calls with customers to provide support and/or delivery of structured certification programs for customers.
Role expectations
Provides clinical decisions / skills to a group of CAD Designers and Support team.- Ensures that Treatments are in accordance with Align Protocols and costumers Instructions
- May be also involved in clinical inbound and outbound calls with Invisalign Providers
- Resolves customer issues, concerns and complaints.
- Participates and / ot delivers ongoing training to the production CAD Designers.
- Handles inquiries, requests and / or issues from the business about the company products/services.
- Handles clinical communication with Align Employees and/or Invisalign Provider (customer).
- Assists or participates in clinical trainings to Align Employees and Invisalign Providers.
- May participate in special projects and / or trainings as needed with detailed instructions.
- Provides ideas and suggestions to improve customer experience and/or specific clinical treatments.
- Supports the management of product safety reports by working with regulatory and quality assurance teams.
- Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures. Reports all unsafe activities to supervisor and / or Human Resources.
- Provides clinical assistance to the sales organization.
- Contributing independently.
What we're looking for
ACADEMIC BACKGROUND
- If externally hired:
Dental background (preferably a Bachelor’s degree in Dentistry).
Typically has a minimum 2 years of directly related experience.
- If internal promotion:
May develop at this level for 2-3 years internally.
Clinical Acumen (needed for non-bachelor): demonstrated medium level, as per guidelines set by EMEA CL Hub."
Typically, minimum of 2 years of directly related experience.- Excellent computer literacy required.
- This is an intermediate position.
LANGUAGES
- Strong written and oral communication abilities required.
- English language skill on at least CI-level (CEFR).
- Turkish language skill on at least CI-level (CEFR).
SKILLS /COMPETENCIES
- Able to read, analyze, and interpret orthodontic records, treatment prescriptions, internal communications and operating procedures.
- Able to present effectively information to co-workers and supervisors.
- Demonstrates potential to learn, adapt and manage company tools to track and improve own performance as well as the performance of CAD Designers.
- Good knowledge of basic computer operations and Microsoft Office tools.
- Proficient in Align 3D software.
- Makes sound and fast clinical decisions.
- Understands business metrics, KPI´s, systems and processes.
- Interpersonal skills and ability to work functionaly and / or cross-functionally.
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Strong customer focus.
