Andersen is hiring a Business/System Analyst for a global digital payments leader. The role involves developing a secure, scalable credit card management system for a major Azerbaijani bank.

The project is the development of a new credit card management system for a major bank in Azerbaijan, seamlessly integrated into the existing digital ecosystem. It is a large-scale initiative focused on building a secure, high-performance, and scalable platform to ensure efficient credit card lifecycle management and support the expansion of lending services.
Responsibilities
- Identifying and gathering requirements from various sources.
- Analyzing and documenting technical requirements from various stakeholders.
- Drawing up, reviewing, and systemizing project documentation in terms of process selection.
- Drawing up and maintaining documentation on business and software requirements.
- Creating and maintaining the development team backlog.
- Designing and developing a credit card module from scratch.
- Designing APIs.
- Working with a database.
- Modeling the domain area (entity relationship diagrams), business processes and algorithms (UML activity diagrams), functional capabilities (UML use case diagrams), and service interactions (UML sequence diagrams).
- Participating in Scrum ceremonies.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience in the credit card domain for 5+ years.
- Strong experience in designing and implementing data models specific to credit card systems.
- Expert-level knowledge of credit card core processes, lending management systems such as end-of-day processing, interest calculation, delinquency handling, payment schedules/re-schedules.
- Deep understanding of various architectural patterns such as microservices, serverless, and event-driven architectures.
- Proficiency in designing scalable, secure, and highly available and performance systems.
- Strong communication and documentation skills, both technical and business-facing.
- Experience with core banking (flex, temenos, etc.).
- Experience with platforms such as Compass, OpenWay, or Ocean.
- Level of English – from Intermediate+.
