We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join our dynamic team, dedicated to enhancing our core insurance software product which is tailored to meet the unique demands of each customer. This role involves a high degree of interaction with clients to understand their needs and translate them into actionable requirements for our development team. The ideal candidate will be a problem-solver with a strong background in the insurance industry and exceptional communication skills.
What you’ll do:
- Customer Requirements Analysis: Engage with customers to gather and define requirements, ensuring alignment with business needs.
- User Story Creation: Write clear and concise user stories and acceptance criteria to guide the development team.
- Data Analysis: Perform data analysis to support decision-making and improve product functionality.
- System Integration: Coordinate with technical teams to ensure smooth integration of our software with customer systems.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements within the project lifecycle.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain continuous communication with all project stakeholders, from clients to internal teams.
- Documentation: Produce high-quality documentation of processes, requirements, and changes.
- Risk Management: Proactively identify and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle.
- User Experience Design: Contribute to the design of the user interface to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Experience with Agile methodologies.
- Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in the insurance industry with 5+ years implementation experience in a Top Core PAS (Policy Admin system).
- Fluency in English is required.
- Expertise in Core Insurance Software: Deep Knowledge of a Top Insurance PAS (Policy Admin System – Guidewire or DuckCreek or Majesco or Equivalent), how it can be customized and ability to do End to End impact analysis of making changes in the Core PAS. Should have done at least 2 End to End Core PAS implementations.
- Data Analysis: Ability to interpret and analyze data to make informed decisions and recommendations.
- SQL and Database Knowledge: Skills in SQL or other database query languages to manipulate and retrieve data.
- System Integration: Understanding of how different systems interact and integrate with each other, especially important for software that adjusts to customer needs.
- Proficiency in Project Management Tools: Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Office, and SharePoint.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Strong customer focus and commitment to delivering quality solutions.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage conflicts effectively.
- Travel: Willingness to travel frequently as needed to meet with clients and stakeholders.
